Recognition from a distant in space and time

Recognition from a distant in space and time

James Joseph ’62

I do not have any close  memories of President Collins.    That is my fault and loss.  I have heard a lot about President Collins; especially when he was working with the guys at DU/ Lambda (my fraternity)  a few years ago.   All I can say,  is that anybody who can put up with being president of a university   (with its up and downs) for 40 years, deserves all the recognition he can get!

Tony and Karen, all the best wishes from the Jacot/Beckstein family. Your phone call to my mother after my dad passed away is th epitome of the Clarkson Experience. It meant so much to us. Thank you for all the wonderful pep band memories and for your support throughout the years. You will not soon be forgotten. Love, Michaele-Lynne (Jacot) Beckstein

Although I had more interactions with you, Tony, while working at the St. Lawrence County Chamber as their Events & Promotions Manager, I’m very excited to now work in Clarkson’s Career Center.  Helping our students achieve their future employment goals has been very rewarding.  Favorite memory, however, is having dinner with you and Karen at our beautiful home in celebration of Karen St. Hilaire’s retirement as SLC Administrator.  Best chimichurri!  (It’s funny what we remember!)  Best wishes for all your future journeys!

Thank you for making us better alumni!

Tony and Karen —

Believe it or not, we never interacted on campus until after I graduated and shortly after joined the Alumni Association. I can say without a doubt, that your enthusiasm, passion and joy for Clarkson and its community, truly made me a better Alumni. Your spirit makes us want to do more, raise each other up and gives us an incredible amount of pride to be a Golden Knight. Thank you for all that all of the warmth that you’ve shown the Ayers Family. My children will never forget where your foosball table is.

We can’t wait to see you on your next adventures!
