Eva Gardow, program manager at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), served as the technical lead on a pioneering clean-energy pilot that brought a mobile battery storage system to Cornell University. She played a key role in guiding the project through complex safety, regulatory, permitting, and code requirements, helping partners understand and navigate the nuances that often slow adoption of renewable energy technologies. Through her leadership, the project is generating critical insights on performance, cost, carbon savings, and regulatory pathways, helping to smooth the broader adoption of renewable, battery-based power solutions across New York State and beyond.
