Knightline Engagement Center

Mission Statement

Clarkson University’s Knightline Engagement Center is a dynamic, team-oriented annual giving program designed to empower our students as ambassadors for the University. The team plays a crucial role in advancing Clarkson’s mission by reaching out to alumni, parents, and friends. Their responsibilities include updating biographical information, informing constituents about special on and off-campus events, raising funds to support essential initiatives that enhance the learning and living experiences for current students, and expressing gratitude to our generous supporters for the opportunities they help provide. The Knightline Engagement Center is dedicated to enhancing the overall Clarkson experience for both current and future students while building strong relationships within the valued Golden Knight community.

FAQ’s

When do we call?

Student Callers work about 20 weeks, from September – April, with breaks over the holiday seasons. They call Monday – Thursday from 6-9PM (EST) and Sundays from 5-8 PM (EST).

What number will be calling me?

Students use a computer program to make calls. All calls will come from 315-322-7882, with Madrid, NY on the caller ID.

Is my credit card number stored?

No, student callers will transfer you to an automated system that you enter your credit card information into so callers do not have access to your secure information while you make your gift over the phone.

Can I make my gift online?

Sure you can! You may make your gift online at clarkson.edu/intro. If you spoke to a student caller and remember their name, please let us know in the comment section so we can recognize them for their efforts!

Can I ask a student to call back at another time?

Unfortunately, our program does not have the capability to schedule a call back from a specific student at a later date or time to you. However, if you have any questions or issues, please feel free to contact our Annual Giving office at 315-268-6582 or email Melissa Todd, assistant director of annual giving programs, at mtodd@clarkson.edu.

I don’t want to receive phone calls from students, can I be removed from the calling list?

Absolutely, we don’t want to waste your time or our students’ time, so please send an email to Melissa Todd at mtodd@clarkson.edu with your request.
