Murphy, Russell Named to Assistant Vice President Roles at SRC

Syracuse, NY – SRC, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotions of Mike Murphy and Mike Russell in the Defense Systems and Solutions Division.

Mike Murphy has been named assistant vice president, advanced radar and sensors. In this role, Murphy will be responsible for leading in the development of cutting-edge radars and sensors, research and development of technology, and new business. Murphy has been with SRC for 25 years, most recently working as director of advanced radar and sensors. He has a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Clarkson University and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Syracuse University. Murphy volunteers as a Wyldlife leader for Young Life, mentoring middle school children.

As the new assistant vice president, strategy and technology, Mike Russell will work with a broad network of colleagues from across the SRC enterprise to develop and maintain the strategy and associated investments for the Defense Systems and Solutions Division. Russell has been with SRC for 15 years, most recently as director of strategy and technology. He has a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Clarkson University and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Syracuse University. Russell is on the board of the Fayetteville Free Library and coaches FIRST Lego League (a branch of FIRST Robotics).
