Clarkson Matters to me because Med School at the University of Rochester was a piece of cake after Clarkson, which gave me the tools and thinking to progress! The same mindset and hard work at Clarkson prepared me for excellence in medicine. Chemical Engineering is a great pre-med curriculum (you need to add Biology, thank you, Dr. Accosta, you were wonderful!). I met my future bride at Clarkson, Margie Simons, skiing at a ski area 30 minutes from Clarkson. We rode up the chairlift together several times, and love was in the air! We had a “learners permit” living together for 10 years and happily married 41 years after that! We are both so delighted to have chosen Clarkson! It enhanced both our lives in so many ways!
