Clarkson Matters to me because…..the intimate, personal educational environment transformed my life. My early adolescent years in a small town, struggling with challenging economic conditions, instilled in me a strong work ethic. But my confidence was lacking. Clarkson provided me – through supportive faculty and engaging fellow students – a path to excel, and options to pursue graduate studies at some of the most elite academic institutions in the world.
But, the true appreciation for Clarkson was realized upon matriculating from these “elite” institutions – I recognized the Clarkson experience was of equal value.
I’m proud of both my alma maters – but my volunteer activities and supporting funds are directed solely to Clarkson.
