Students from across campus showed their appreciation for Clarkson donors at the first annual #GratefulGoldenKnights Day on Nov 7, 2019. This new program aims to become a Clarkson tradition that celebrates gifts from our philanthropic supporters and reminds the Clarkson community that their experience would not be what it is without these generous contributions.
More than 200 individuals including students, faculty and staff expressed their gratitude through signing close to 1300 thank you cards which were delivered in donor mailboxes shortly before the Thanksgiving Holiday.
“We’re just so excited about the new #GratefulGoldenKnights Day program,” and Cara Valentine, Director of Donor Engagement and Stewardship. “It’s a great opportunity for the campus community to come together to celebrate and acknowledge those individuals that make monetary contributions to Clarkson. We look forward to growing the program over the years and hope to make this a staple of the CU experience to further educate students on the impact of philanthropy at Clarkson.”
